TBC hosting center dedication Monday

Trinity Bible College in Ellendale is hosting the official dedication of the Fern and Jon Liechty Fitness Center on Monday.

Tours of the fitness center and campus facilities will begin at 5 p.m. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served from 5:30-6:15 p.m., with a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony to follow. Desert will be served at 7 p.m.

The 7,400-square foot facility will house a new state-of-the-art weight and fitness room along with new football locker rooms.

The project began in 2011 and now connects Ray Ulmer Fieldhouse, the Armory and Flemington Hall. The new fitness center will house more than $120,000 in elliptical machines, stationary bikes and treadmills.

Updates were also made to Ray Ulmer Fieldhouse, most notably new finish, paint scheme and updated logos to the gym floor.
