Garden club to meet on Tuesday

Prairie Rose Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Stadium Park on Third Street Northeast just west of the Jamestown College football stadium. The program this month is “Planting with Fire.”

Have you ever thought of enjoying a nighttime fire outside on a cool evening, but was unsure of the whole idea of how to incorporate a fire in your backyard? Come and learn some ideas and safety tips to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Those who are planning to attend are asked to bring their own lawn chair.

The club’s programs and meetings are open to the public. The program will be first and be followed by a coffee break. Hostesses are Angie Maetzold and Gloria Mickelson.
