KILLDEER, N.D. (AP) — The Dunn County Commission has approved a request to rezone 120 acres of land near Killdeer that could become a crew camp site.

The Dickinson Press reports that the commission voted last week to rezone the land north of Killdeer. Commissioner Tim Steffan cast the lone dissenting vote.

Several residents opposed to the development presented a letter to the commission.

Development could include a crew camp, gas station and dance hall. But none of those proposals have come before the commission for approval.
