Civic Center hosting Pre-DAC tourney

The Jamestown Civic Center will be the host for the Pre-DAC Tournament in January.

Jamestown College will serve as the host for the two-day event.

On Jan. 19, Valley City State and Mayville State will play with the women at 1 p.m. and the men to follow. The Jimmies will take on Dakota State at 5 p.m. in the women’s game with the men to follow.

The consolation and championship games will be played on Jan. 20 with play beginning at 1 p.m.

The Jimmie men are about a month away from their first game. They host Brandon, Manitoba Oct. 12 and 13 at the Civic Center. The JC women’s first scheduled games are Oct. 26 and 27 as they host Brandon, Winnipeg and Mayville State for the Jimmie Classic.
