Melissa Goodrich then gave a speech from the storytelling manual titled “The Lion and the Mouse.”
There were no table topics.
Martin Monek gave the speech evaluation and general evaluation of the meeting overall.
Anita Monek was the timer and counted the ahs, ums, and other verbal mistakes made throughout the meeting.
Martin Monek shared a joke.
Heather Goudreau was also in attendance.
The next Toastmasters meeting is at 6 p.m. today.
Masaki Ova will be the toastmaster and Martin Monek will give a speech. Visitors are encouraged to attend and see what Toastmasters is all about. The group meets at 6 p.m. every Tuesday in the basement of St. James Basilica.
