NDTPC offers essay/video award

To encourage the youth of North Dakota to participate in the political process that will shape their future, the North Dakota Tea Party Caucus is holding an essay/video contest where two winners will be awarded $500 each to be used toward college expenses.

To encourage the youth of North Dakota to participate in the political process that will shape their future, the North Dakota Tea Party Caucus is holding an essay/video contest where two winners will be awarded $500 each to be used toward college expenses.

One contest is open to any North Dakota high school senior and the other to any college student who is a resident of North Dakota. Entries can be either an 800-1,000 work written essay or a minimum 2-minute, 30-second video on the meaning of the U.S. Constitution and liberty in today’s world.

One $500 prize will be awarded to a high school senior and another $500 prize to a college student.

The essay contest will end on Oct. 25, and the winners will be announced on Nov. 6. Judging will be done by five members of the North Dakota Tea Party Caucus.
