KINDRED, N.D. (AP) — A well-known North Dakota pilot who died in a crash is being laid to rest.
The funeral for 66-year-old Robert Odegaard, of Kindred, is Wednesday afternoon in the southeastern North Dakota town. It will be followed by a burial in the local cemetery and a flyover.
A special program celebrating Odegaard's life is planned at the Fargo Air Museum following the Kindred services. Odegaard was one of the museum's founders.
Odegaard participated in air shows throughout the country. He died Friday while practicing for the Valley City Air Show.
