JRFD responds to grass fire near Pipestem Reservoir

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a fire in the grass and trees east of Pipestem Reservoir Thursday afternoon, according to scanner reports.

The fire was reported to be near the road that connects Pipestem Dam to U.S. Highway 281 near where it crosses the railroad tracks. The JRFD was dispatched at about 2:35 p.m.
