Group promotes event for police

Saturday is “Tell a Police Officer Thank You Day.” The event is being organized in the state by the Wives Behind the Badge North Dakota Auxiliary.

The organizers are asking residents and businesses to take steps Saturday to show thanks to law enforcement officers for their work. Some suggested services include meals, haircuts, laundry services, merchandise discounts or simply saying “thank you.”
