Festival of Music scheduled Sept. 23

The Jamestown United Presbyterian Church is combining with the Presbyterian churches in Edgeley, Ellendale, LaMoure, Lisbon and Oakes, to present the Festival of Music at 4 p.m. Sept. 23. The festival will take place in the First Presbyterian Church of La- Moure.

This event will include a combined choral choir directed by Joe Banister, a handbell solo by Diane Witzig, a piano solo by David Morlock, a men’s quartet, a children’s choir of LaMoure and several Scripture readings from various pastors of the said churches.

The mission of this festival is the hope that, through the fellowship of music and the spoken word, the cluster of Presbyterian Churches can get together once a year.

Following the program the host church will feed the congregation. Everyone is welcome.
