JRFD responds to grass fire by N.D. Highway 20

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire that threatened a rural home Friday evening, according to scanner reports.

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire that threatened a rural home Friday evening, according to scanner reports.

The JRFD was dispatched at about 6:50 p.m. after a fire was reported on the east side of N.D. Highway 20 where it meets Stutsman County Road 42 — the road to Spiritwood Lake about 11 miles north of Jamestown.

The fire was reported to be near a residence.

No further information was available as of press time.
