Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch will hold its 10th annual Pigs ‘n a Blanket dinner and quilt auction Saturday, at Davies High School gymnasium, located at 7150 25th St. S, Fargo.

A quilt preview is from 2 to 4 p.m., dinner is from 4 to 6 p.m. and a live quilt auction is at 5:30 p.m.

All dinner tickets will be sold at the door; $7 per person and $15 for families of three or more. Children age 3 and under get in free. Dinner includes roast pork, baked beans, au gratin potatoes, corn, buns and desserts.

The event will feature more than 100 quilts from individuals, guilds and churches across the nation.

Music will be provided by Cat Sank Trio and there will be many door prizes. This year’s auctioneers will be Jim and Ken Smykowski.

The Ranch raised nearly $24,635 in its three auctions held in Fargo, Bismarck and Minot in 2011. Proceeds from the dinners and auctions help fund programs for the community’s children who are at risk with emotional and behavioral issues.

The Ranch is a non-profit Christian organization, which helps at-risk children and their families succeed in the name of Christ. It is celebrating 60 years of service to children and families in 2012.
