Mayflower group to meet Oct. 14
The North Dakota Chapter of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants will have its annual general meeting from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Veterans Memorial Public Library, 515 N Fifth St., Bismarck.

Members of other Mayflower Society chapters are welcome to attend, as are prospective members and guests, but they are asked to notify the society in advance by contacting the chapter governor at 701-952-2355. For those who are considering joining, the chapter historian will be present and able to help afterward with Pilgrim lineage research.
