“The Odd Couple,” a dinner theater production by 2nd ACT Community Theater, is at 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the Arts Center with the show at 7 p.m. A 2 p.m. matinee is also on Saturday. The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band performs in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Jamestown College. Special Events
Oktoberfest starts with family events from noon to 5 p.m. at the beer garden in the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. A homebrew contest starts at 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. the event features food and beer tasting for those 21 and older. There is no admission for children’s events. Admission to the food and beer tasting is $30. There is an additional $5 cost to sample the beer tasting. Tickets are available at the Arts Center.
The HOPE Dinner and Auction starts with a silent auction and social hour at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Zebedee Center. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. with a live auction to follow. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by calling 252-3397.
