Many view ‘Bully’ at first screening

More than 100 people attended the first screening of “Bully” Sept. 15 at Bison 6 Cinema, according to event organizers.

More than 100 people attended the first screening of “Bully” Sept. 15 at Bison 6 Cinema, according to event organizers.

The film is a documentary about peer-to-peer bullying in U.S. schools.

A press release from organizers said surveys circulated to moviegoers indicated people need to be made more aware about bullying and that they were glad the movie was screened here.

The film is playing daily through Sept. 27 at 4:30, 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $6. Special arrangements can be made for groups by calling 252-5688.
