Church of God holds harvest celebration
Church of God in Alfred, N.D., invites the public to its annual Harvest of Thanks celebration today through Saturday.
Church of God in Alfred, N.D., invites the public to its annual Harvest of Thanks celebration today through Saturday.
The theme for the weekend is “Who Is in Control?” Services will be at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday and begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. All services will include special music and time for prayer.
There will be a prepared lunch at noon Saturday following by SingSpiration at 2:30 p.m. A light supper will be served that day followed by Fun Night starting at 8 p.m. in the Alfred School. The public is welcome to attend.
Guest speaker Larry Zaragoza is a district superintendent and General Conference Board of Directors member. He has been a youth retreat speaker for 30 years.
Alfred is located two miles south of N.D. Highway 46, 18 miles west of U.S. Highway 281 and six miles east of Gackle, N.D.
