Class B volleyball: Ulmer helps LMM win in 5

Tanys Ulmer piled up eight kills, seven aces, six digs and two blocks as the Litchville-Marion-Montpelier High School volleyball team nipped Central Prairie 24-27, 26-24, 12-25, 25-16, 15-8 in District 5 action in Montpelier.

Heather Graalum totaled eight kills, five aces and four digs, and Leah Bruse added six kills, 18 assists and two aces in the win, which saw the Rebels rally after losing a heart-breaking first game 27-25.

Central Prairie got a match-high 11 kills from Courtney Heupel, who also had three digs. Shelby Larson had six kills and 21 digs.
