Jamestown Fire Department calls Sept. 15-20:
Sept. 14: 8:38 p.m., ready squad responded to 413 Third Ave. NE, Apt. 1, multi-family dwelling, to investigate odor smell. Firefighters checked the area and found nothing. Cause: unknown. Time out: 15 minutes.
Sept. 16: 7:21 p.m., fire department responded to 403 Second Ave. NW, single family dwelling, to a report of smoke. Firefighters extracted smoke and investigate. Cause: plastic on heater. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 40 minutes.
Sept. 18: 7:38 p.m., fire department responded to Klaus Park entrance, to a report of a tree on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause: discarded smoking materials. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 35 minutes.
