SBA sets webinar on starting a business

The Small Business Administration has announced a free webinar series will be held for those interested in starting a business in North Dakota or those who have been in business for less than one year. “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” will be held starting Oct. 2.

The Small Business Administration has announced a free webinar series will be held for those interested in starting a business in North Dakota or those who have been in business for less than one year. “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” will be held starting Oct. 2.

SBA will cover six business start-up subject areas and answer specific questions from participants. Different subjects will be covered over the six-week series including forms of business organization, marketing/sales, sources of capital, business planning, insurance and record keeping.

“Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” is available to anybody with a computer with access to the Internet and the ability to participate in the audio portion of the program using a computer speaker/microphone or separate speaker phone. Each webinar will offer a formal program of instruction with a live presenter who can answer questions.

Alternate times and dates will be available to afford flexibility to individuals wishing to attend. Interested parties should register early so that they will receive the program materials through the mail in time to use with the program.
