MV-E uses late run to defeat Linton-HMB

Tied 12-12 after three quarters, Maple Valley-Enderlin scored 12 fourth-quarter points to defeat Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock in Class A football action Friday night.
Thomas Lindgren ran for 157 yards on 26 carries and had touchdown runs of 45 and 4 yards in the win for fourth-ranked and unbeaten Maple Valley-Oriska (5-0). Quarterback Jordan Haseleu added a TD pass to Daniel Lindgren and Haseleu also carried in a score from 3-yards out.
A showdown will ensue this Friday when MV-E hosts Northern Cass in a game featuring the final two teams with unbeaten Region 1 records.
Linton-HMB, which fell to Oakes earlier this season, drops to 2-2 in the region an 2-3 overall.
