Youth pheasant season Oct. 6, 7

The North Dakota youth pheasant hunt opens on Oct. 6 and runs through that weekend. The season is open to any youth 15 and younger with a valid fishing, hunting and furbearer certificate and a habitat license.

Hunting is allowed from 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset with normal bag limits in place. Hunters under the age of 12 must possess a hunter education certificate. All youth hunters must be accompanied by an adult while in the field. The adult is not allowed to participate in the hunt.
