The Jamestown College men’s soccer team continues its steady climb toward the NAIA top 25. The unbeaten and 9-0 Jimmies got the fourth-most votes of any team not in the rankings in the latest top 25 released on Tuesday.

Jamestown College would be 29th if the rankings went that far. It has 57 points in the poll. Concordia (Ore.) is ranked 25th and has 115 points.
The Jimmies have a home game today against Bethel College (Minn.) at 5 p.m. at the Jimmie Soccer Field. Only No. 1-ranked Lindsey Wilson, Ky. (9-0) and fourth-ranked Belhaven, Miss., (9-0) have as many wins as the Jimmies.
The JC volleyball team moved back into the teams receiving votes in the rankings.
The 13-3 Jimmies had dropped out entirely in last week’s poll because a lack of matches. The Jimmies have the seventh-most points of teams not in the top 25, although they do have wins over 14th-ranked (Doane) and Bellevue (Neb.), which is just outside the top 25 at No. 28.
Jamestown College plays back-to-back home matches Friday and Saturday night against Valley City and Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.). The Jimmies are up to No. 2 in the Independent Conference rankings behind only ninth-ranked Cal State San Marcos (15-8).
