La Leche League to meet on Oct. 2

The next meeting of the La Leche League is planned at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at the James River Family YMCA.

The La Leche League is for women who are planning to breastfeed or already nursing. Leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers, accredited by La Leche League International. Whether women are pregnant or already nursing LLL offers tips and techniques shared by mothers who have enjoyed a successful breastfeeding relationship.

Services available include monthly information meetings, lending library, and phone/email help for breastfeeding problems or questions. All mothers-to-be, mothers and babies are welcome.
