After the Mustangs controlled the first set in Carrington’s gym, it was tight the next two, but Midkota prevailed both sets, 27-25 and 26-24.
Kallie Frappier amassed 17 digs, eight kills, four assists and two blocks to lead the Mustangs. Callie Harding’s double-double included 21 assists, 15 digs and five kills. Emily Berge connected for nine kills, while Brooke Ronningen’s 20 digs were a team-high.
Madison Wendel topped the Cardinals in kills (6) and aces (2). Breana Barton had three blocks and two aces, while Hannah Lipetzky went down for 13 digs.

Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal got 13 combined kills between Callie Neys and Amanda Beckley in a 3-0 win over Central Prairie.
Neys added six digs to go with her seven kills. Lindsey Saxberg dished out 16 assists and Beckley and Jordan Thomas each served in four aces.
Noelle Moser tallied four kills, three assists and two digs for the Firebirds. Jordan Spitzer had seven digs and Madi Moldenhauer zipped in six aces.

Kalli Scherbenski topped South Border in kills (6) and added 16 digs. Hannah Bettenhausen turned up 20 digs in the win.
The Rebels scored 20 points in the first game, but no more than 12 in the last two. Hallie Anderson had seven assists and six digs. Ashley Boom’s four kills were a team-high and Mikaela Long’s eight digs topped the team.

The Cougars got to 20 in the first game, but struggled from there. Presley Paintner led the way with 13 assists, 11 digs and five kills. Alexis Savre hit down 10 kills and had 14 digs. Shaylee Andel added 12 digs.
