Uffda Day is Oct. 7 in Rutland, N.D.

The event celebrates Scandinavian heritage with traditional entertainment, food and activities.

A parade is at 1 p.m. Other events include lunch at the Senior Citizens, a sale of ethnic foods at the Legion Hall, quilt show at the Baptist Church, pioneer demonstrations, antique tractor and car shows, horse-drawn rides and arts and craft sales. The Pioneer House and Museum will be open and musical entertainment is planned.

Rutland’s “Famous Scalloped Potatoes” will be served at City Hall beginning at 11 a.m.
