The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band performs in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Jamestown College. Oktoberfest starts with family events from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the beer garden in the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. A homebrew contest starts at 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. the event features food and beer tasting for those 21 and older. There is no admission for children’s events. Admission to the food and beer tasting is $30. There is an additional $5 cost to sample the beer tasting. German costumes are encouraged. Tickets are available at the Arts Center.
