Class B roundup: Ellendale sweeps the Loboes in LaMoure

Rachel Herman passed out 19 assists and Lucinda Stoppleworth powered in 10 kills to help Ellendale sweep LaMoure in District 5 Class B volleyball action in LaMoure on Thursday.

Shayna Mertz led the Cardinals in digs (15), aces (5) and blocks (2) as they won three competitive sets, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-23.

Megan Good carried the load for the Loboes with 25 assists, eight digs, three aces and two blocks. Courtney Carlson swung for 13 kills.

Jessica Teubner had seven kills and three blocks to lead North Star. Kelsey Teubner had four kills and two aces for North Star.
