Two people were sentenced on felony charges in Southeast District Court. Dallas Marie Johnson, 19, Bismarck, pleaded guilty to theft of property, a Class C felony.

Two people were sentenced on felony charges in Southeast District Court.
Dallas Marie Johnson, 19, Bismarck, pleaded guilty to theft of property, a Class C felony.
Johnson was accused of being in possession of a stolen vehicle valued at $30,000 on or about Dec. 1, 2011.
Judge Thomas E. Merrick sentenced Johnson to 30 days at the Stutsman County Correctional Center along with a two-year deferred imposition of sentence during which time she will be on supervised probation.
Johnson was also sentenced to pay a $650 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.
A Class C felony is punishable by five years in prison and $5,000 in fines.
Robert Warren Veitch, 39, Orono, Minn., pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, a Class C felony.
Veitch was accused of driving a car the wrong way on Interstate 94 and/or leaving a car stopped in the driving lane facing against the direction of travel on or about June 22.
Judge John Greenwood sentenced Veitch to one year and one day with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Greenwood suspended 321 days and gave Veitch credit for 45 days already served. He was also sentenced to two years supervised probation.
Veitch was ordered to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.
