Central Prairie tops Barnes Co. North

Jordan Spitzer had 22 digs and a pair of aces to help Central Prairie outlast Barnes County North 3-1 on Saturday in Class B volleyball action.

Noelle Moser also had a solid outing for the Firebirds with 16 assists, six kills and five aces as Central Prairie won the first two games and the fourth to seal it.

Jayda Haugen’s line of 16 assists, four digs and two kills paced the Bison. Samantha Wieland and Kayla Erker each hit five kills.

M-NS wins in OT

Milnor-North Sargent converted its 2-point try in overtime and that was the difference in a 28-26 OT win over Oakes Friday night.

After Andrew Martinson’s 4-yard touchdown run, Dillon Morlock won it with the conversion run.

Bryce Meehl had two touchdown passes for Oakes. Cole Ehrlin added a pair of scoring runs.
