Demons, Miners top latest polls

Bismarck stayed unbeaten last week with a convincing win over the Jamestown Blue Jays and remains on top of the Class AAA high school football poll this week.

Bismarck stayed unbeaten last week with a convincing win over the Jamestown Blue Jays and remains on top of the Class AAA high school football poll this week.

Now at 6-0, the Demons are the only undefeated Class AAA team left in the state. Minot (5-1) dropped from second to fourth in the poll, while Grand Forks Red River (5-1) enters the poll this week in a tie for fifth with West Fargo (4-2).

The Beulah Miners overtook the top spot from Fargo Shanley this week on the Class AA side. The Miners received 10 of 12 first-place votes and are undefeated at 6-0.

Grafton (5-1) moved from fourth to third, while Minot Ryan (5-1) stayed put at No. 5. Valley City (4-1) received votes.
