Volunteers donate blood
A total of 107 people volunteered to donate blood, and 91 were able to give during R.M. Stoudt’s two-day blood drive. Thirty-one people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 122 products were collected.

“It is not only those who sponsor the blood drive, but the people of Jamestown donating that makes the difference to patients in the hospital,” said Rob Miller, senior donor recruitment representative from United Blood Services. “You never know when a loved one or even you will need blood. We want to thank all the people who volunteered on Sept. 13.”
Dean Haas coordinated the drive, and R.M. Stoudt Inc. sponsored and assisted with recruiting donors, publicity, providing refreshments and registering donors.
