BDD/Friends of refuge to meet
The Birding Drives Dakota/Friends of the Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Oct 9.
The Birding Drives Dakota/Friends of the Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Oct 9. It will be held at the Arrowwood NWR Headquarters, 7780 10th St. SE, Pingree. The guest speaker is Paul Halko, deputy project leader for Arrowwood Refuge. His short presentation will be on Arrowwood NWR and its new Friends group.
The meeting is open to the public; appetizers will be served. This is a chance to see the new visitor’s center at the refuge and learn about volunteers.
