Lovell hired as JC assistant coach

Dan Lovell has been hired as an assistant coach for the Jimmie men’s wrestling team.

Lovell was a state champion in high school in Iowa. He also earned All-American honors at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and was a USA Veterans National Champion in free style, folk style, and Greco Roman this year.

Lovell placed third at the Veterans Worlds Tournament last month.

“Dan is a great addition to our coaching staff and we are excited to have him,” JC wrestling coach C.J. Campbell said.
