JRCC announces promotions

The James River Correctional Center recently announced several promotions.

Travis Yunck has accepted the position of correctional caseworker effective Sept. 10.

Yunck started with the JRCC in May 2001 as a correctional officer I. He is a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team. He received employee of the month in June 2004 and has received various letters of appreciation during his employment with the JRCC.

Samuelu Joseph, Michael Roehrich and Dylan Warkenthien have all accepted the position of correctional officer III (sergeant).

Joseph started with the JRCC as a correctional officer I in January 2007. He resigned his position in August 2008 but returned to the JRCC in April 2010. He is a member of the Special Operations Response Team.

Roehrich started with the JRCC as a correctional officer I in November 2007.

Warkenthien started with the JRCC as a correctional officer I in June 2009.
