ACC recognizes employees

The Anne Carlsen Center recognized careers of 44 individual employees Sunday, with a commemorative celebration held at its annual employee appreciation picnic.

The Anne Carlsen Center recognized careers of 44 individual employees Sunday, with a commemorative celebration held at its annual employee appreciation picnic.

“It’s important that we acknowledge the incredible resource of caring, committed staff we have on board” said Anne Carlsen Center CEO Eric Monson. “Their hard work and dedication over the years speaks to a unique call to compassion that is ingrained in our culture and indispensable to our mission.”

Judy Rempfer and Nancy Elstad topped the list with 45 and 35 years of service, respectively. Laurie Skadsem, Terry Murphy, Mary Meyer, Donna Lefevre, Judy Kulla, Sheila Dewey, and Jeannine Colburn were all recognized for 30 years of service to the organization.

Twenty-five year awards were given to Mark Coppin, Bette Johnson, Leslie Kendall, Phyllis Munson, Sheila Ova, Becky Simmons and Roxanne Willey, while Marcia Gums, LeAnn Irish, Donna Mayer and Jane Murch were saluted with 20-year service awards.

Connie Carley and Pamela Foss received 15-year awards. Marla Calheim, Leann Gumke, Hazel Herrmann, Deborah Loftsgard, Kristina Nitschke, Samantha Siebert and Michael Wentland were honored with 10-year awards of service.

Joni Albrecht, Evelyn Berg, Melissa Cullen, Beth Erbele, Stacy Hahn, Melissa Jansen, Vangie Kiser, Kathleen Kottonbrock, Beverly Kracht, Brooke Michaelson, Patty Roemmich, Heather Rostenbach, Laura Sandry, Shaila Tahran and Nicole Trottier received five-year awards.

Cumulatively, the 44 employees who were recognized on Sunday have more than 700 years of service at the Anne Carlsen Center.
