Bosch, Mustangs get past Rebels

South Border’s Blake Bosch ran in touchdowns from 30, 37, 1 and 73 yards, helping the Mustangs roll past the Edgeley-Kulm Rebels 56-12 in Region 1 high school 9-man football action in Edgeley on Friday.

South Border’s Blake Bosch ran in touchdowns from 30, 37, 1 and 73 yards, helping the Mustangs roll past the Edgeley-Kulm Rebels 56-12 in Region 1 high school 9-man football action in Edgeley on Friday.

Bosch’s TD scampers of 30 and 37 kicked off the scoring in the first half, and helped the Mustangs take a 22-6 lead at the half. Bosch scored again in the third, while Adam Jacobson rushed for touchdowns of 28 and 10 runs, as South Border took a commanding 42-12 lead into the final quarter of play.

Mason Madcke scored on a 15-yard run for the Rebels. Edgeley-Kulm’s other score came on a 1-yard TD pass from Logan Hanson to James DeLaurier in the third.

The Mustangs improved to 6-2 with the win.
