Fargo Shanley new No. 1 in Class AA

Fargo Shanley is the new No. 1 team in Class AA football.

The Deacons got six of the 11 first-place votes to move into the top spot. Beulah dropped from No. 1 to No. 4 after suffering its first loss of the season on Friday.

Grafton is ranked second and got two first-place votes. Minot Ryan is third after getting three top-place nods.

Undefeated Bismarck remains atop the Triple A poll. The Demons are the only undefeated team in Class AAA.

Fargo South, Bismarck Century, Minot and Grand Forks Red River round out the top 5. The Blue Jays play at Minot on Friday.
