Commission takes no action on plats

The Jamestown Planning Commission took no action on two plats scheduled for a final review before being forwarded to the City Council for final approval.

The final plat documents for Andersen’s Country View Estates and Western View were not submitted to the city engineer’s office for review before the meeting. The city engineer’s office is charged with reviewing them before consideration by the Planning Commission.

The commission also authorized city staff members to prepare an application form detailing the information that must be included on any plat request and outlining the deadlines for submission.

The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 12 at City Hall because of the Veterans Day holiday.
