A total of 50 people volunteered to donate blood, and 38 were able to give during the Anne Carlsen Center’s Sept. 21 blood drive. Five people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 43 products were collected. One donor gave for the first time.

Sheila Ova coordinated the drive, and the ACC sponsored and assisted with recruiting, publicity, refreshments, registering donors and providing space for the drive.
