Corps meetings on Missouri River set

The Army Corps of Engineers is holding meetings in the Dakotas on its proposed operating plan for the Missouri River for the coming year.

BISMARCK (AP) — The Army Corps of Engineers is holding meetings in the Dakotas on its proposed operating plan for the Missouri River for the coming year.

Meetings are scheduled Oct. 30 in the North Dakota capital of Bismarck and the South Dakota capital of Pierre. They’re among six meetings in five states over four days.

Corps officials will discuss the proposed operating plan and then field questions and comments.

The Bismarck meeting is at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center. The Pierre meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Ramkota Hotel.
