Sons of Norway hosting panel

The Jamestown Sons of Norway Lodge is hosting a genealogy discussion panel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 16. Guest panelist Barb Caine, of the James River Genealogy Club and Alfred Dickey Library, will outline the basics of getting started in genealogy research, local resources and doing genealogy research with or without a computer.

The Jamestown Sons of Norway Lodge is hosting a genealogy discussion panel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 16. Guest panelist Barb Caine, of the James River Genealogy Club and Alfred Dickey Library, will outline the basics of getting started in genealogy research, local resources and doing genealogy research with or without a computer. Lodge member Linda Mohn, will share her expertise on Norwegian genealogy, Internet resources and use of bygdebok records. Jodi Bunde will moderate.

The Sons of Norway meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Gardenette Community Center, 1321 Gardenette Drive, Jamestown. A business meeting and luncheon follows the program.
