Students to perform in concert
The University of Mary’s annual Fall Band Concert at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 in Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel, will include a host of classic and newer compositions for the wind band.
The University of Mary’s annual Fall Band Concert at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 in Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel, will include a host of classic and newer compositions for the wind band. Among the featured works in this first performance of the 2012–2013 season will be “Children’s March: Over the Hills and Far Away” by Australian composer Percy Aldridge Grainger.
This concert is free.
Area band students performing include Jenna Botner, Litchville; Nicholas Knoblich, Lehr, and Sara Schuster, New Rockford.
