Class B roundup: Midkota rolls past Rebels

The Midkota Mustangs kept on rolling at home against the visiting Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal Rebels in Class B volleyball action on Tuesday.

Callie Harding tossed up 15 assists and Kallie Frappier slammed home 15 kills, helping Midkota cruise in three games, 25-15, 25-17, 25-21.

The Rebels were paced by Amanda Beckley’s three kills and eight blocks.

With the win, the defending Region 4 champion Mustangs improved to 28-1 overall and are now 5-0 in District 7 play.

The Skyhawks’ Abby Muggerud posted 11 kills and Paige Emmel recorded 24 assists, helping Shiloh Christian sweep the Pirates 25-23, 25-21, 26-16 in Steele.

Kidder County kept the match tight, led by Erica Kahl’s performance of 9 kills, 15 digs and 2 ace serves. Jordan Stroh recorded five aces for the Pirates.
