Letter to the editor: Romney didn’t win debate; he bulldozed Obama, moderator

I am disheartened by the fact that so many people applauded Mitt Romney’s performance at the first presidential debate. Romney didn’t debate; he bulldozed his way over and through every question, even rudely shouting down the poor moderator. He rapid-fired his catch phrases — as if fast talking turned them into facts — all the while smirking contemptuously.

Once upon a time, we as a nation despised the boorish behavior of people like Communist leader Nikita Khrushchev, famous for hollering and pounding on tables, but apparently Rush Limbaugh has made being a bully so admired in our nation that we will consider electing one to the presidency. What a shame.
