Founded in 1897, Glik’s is one of the oldest family-owned apparel companies in the U.S. It began more than a century ago when Joseph Glik sold merchandise from a horse-drawn wagon in northern Missouri and Iowa. Now the company has 60 locations spread across nine states located in the Midwest with three more stores opening in this year in October and one in November. Each Glik’s store is personally hand-selected by the Glik family. Glik’s now has stores located in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota, including the Jamestown location.
“Our business has been about change and meeting the needs of our customers who have supported us for so many years,” said Jeff Glik, the company’s CEO and president.
