Demons, Deacons remain at top of polls

The Bismarck High and Fargo Shanley football teams continued their reign at the top in the latest Class AAA and AA prep football media polls.

Bismarck High received all 11 first-place votes in the Class AAA poll, ahead of Fargo South. Bismarck Century is third and Grand Forks Red River is fourth. Minot, which is fifth, visits Jamestown at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ernie Gates Field in the regular-season finale. West Fargo is receiving votes in the poll.

Shanley received 10 first-place votes in the Class AA poll, with Grafton getting one first-place vote from the No. 2 spot. Minot Ryan, which received a pair of first-place votes, took third, followed by Beulah and Wahpeton. Valley City also received votes.

Next week is the final poll for both classes.
