JC students to collect food items

Jamestown College student volunteers will trick-or-can from door to door throughout the community from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday to collect canned goods and other nonperishable food items for Community Action Food Pantry.

The annual event is organized by the Jamestown College Student Senate. Student organizations, Jimmie athletic teams and groups of friends and roommates participate. Last year, the effort collected more than 2,300 items.
