Jaron Moor was not to be stopped on Saturday.
The Lakota-Adams-Edmore standout rushed 17 times for an incredible 353 yards and five touchdowns as the Raiders held off Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter 47-44 in 9-man high school football first-round playoff action in Napoleon.
L-A-E, seeded third out of Region 2, held a 33-0 lead in the second quarter before N-G-S struck back. Moor had TD runs of 47, 26 and 97 yards in the first half and 50 and 62 yards in the second half.
N-G-S, the No. 2 seed out of Region 1, came back with 1- and 67-yard TD runs from Andrew Beine. Trent Fettig threw a 6-yard TD pass to Hunter Larson and ran in scores of 15, 44 and 2 yards to get the Imperials within striking distance. Fettig finished with 31 carries for 175 yards.
Lakota-Adams-Edmore (7-2) travels to New Rockford-Sheyenne on Saturday, while the Imperials end their season at 7-3.

A 36-point first-quarter offensive blitz from Cavalier was enough to get by South Border in 9-man action in Cavalier.
Brayden Cleem had TD runs of 6 and 15 yards, and Ryan Chrest added a trio of scoring runs from 10, 15 and 59 yards out in the win, which moved Cavalier (8-1) into the second round where it will travel to Wyndmere-Lidgerwood on Saturday. The Tornadoes are seeded second out of Region 2.
South Border, the No. 3 seed out of Region 1, ended its season at 7-3.

Trailing 28-0 in the second quarter, the Westhope-Newburg-Glenburn football team wasn’t fazed.
The Sioux (6-4) tied the game on QB Hunter Braaten’s 14-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and forged ahead with Braaten’s 43-yard scoring strike to Kodie Hancock in the fourth quarter for the victory.
Braaten completed 10 of 17 passes for 185 yards, 106 of which went Hancock on six catches. Hancock was especially thrilling. In addition to catching a touchdown pass, he also returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown and returned an interception 50 yards for a score for the trifecta. Braaten finished two TD runs and two TD passes.
L-HMB (5-4), which was the No. 2 seed out of Region 1, struggled in the second half, but received 18 carries for 137 yards from Ryan Jacob. The Lions benefited from defensive scores from Jordan Gross and Al Gefroh, who also caught a TD pass in the first quarter.
W-N-G, the No. 3 seed out of Region 3, hosts Milnor-North Sargent on Saturday.
