BISMARCK (AP) — A Bismarck man accused of trying to lure a 13-year-old girl online for sex has pleaded not guilty.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that 28-year-old Aaron Masser pleaded not guilty to the felony charge of luring a minor during a court hearing Monday.
Court documents say Masser talked with a girl he believed to be 13 years old through Facebook, via text messages and on Yahoo Messenger. Authorities said Masser asked the girl to meet him at a Bismarck park, but when he arrived, he was met by investigators instead.
Masser reportedly told officers that he may have had sex with the girl if she had been willing.
Masser’s next court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 26.
