Jimmies sign Minnesota wrestler
Klinton VanHeuveln of Pennock, Minn., has signed with the Jamestown College wrestling team.
Klinton VanHeuveln of Pennock, Minn., has signed with the Jamestown College wrestling team.
VanHeuveln, a 2011 graduate of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School, was a state runner-up in high school and NJCAA national qualifier.
He carries a 3.99 GPA and plans to study chemistry. He was also active in BPA, track, cross country and FFA.
“Klinton is the type of student-athlete who we are trying to attract to our program — one who has the desire to seek greatness in the classroom as well as one the wrestling mat,” said JC coach C.J. Campbell.
He is the son of Kevin and Kimberly VanHeuveln.
